In 1939, a patent was issued to Frank W. Schwinn for his invention of the Schwinn Autocycle Bicycle. When it was introduced in 1936, the Schwinn Autocycle was one of the most stylish, well-equipped bikes on the market. It featured a cantilever frame, spring fork suspension, fore-wheel brakes, and a built-in kickstand. The Schwinn Autocycle was manufactured by Schwinn Bicycle Company from 1936 to 1946.

This is a museum-quality patent reproduction; obtained directly from the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO).

The drawing and specification sheet(s) are printed onto premium, acid-free, lignin-free parchment paper; which reproduces the authentic look and feel of the original document.

This listing also includes a lithographic art print. The print (as depicted above) is sized and ready to frame.
